We’ve recently raised a Series A round, with just a team of 6; we’re now set to grow to 20 teammates. Our Director of Engineering spent time at Yelp & Yammer, while our new Head of Content joined us after managing the Stack Overflow blog. The rest of our team comes from companies like Etsy, DigitalOcean, and Squarespace.
This position is based in San Francisco, CA at our new office.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Over the next year you’ll help research, design, and implement products that leverage our unique stack graph to create an engaging developer experience (DX). Our biggest design challenge lies in solving a big B2B problem by creating a compelling B2C experience. So while our goal is to save people time by getting them to the right tools, we need to design in a way that is typically seen in consumer products that tend to cost you time.
We believe part of the answer lies in striking a balance between data and user-generated content, in a way that ultimately helps users better decide on software tools. More specifically, this means designing and building a set of new products that range from recommendations to discussions and private messaging.
You’ll be part of a core team of six (three engineers), where you’ll lead design alongside the CEO and help shape overall product direction- as a result you’ll learn a ton about the software tools/SaaS space as well as community building.
You’ll take your visual designs all the way to production. From whiteboarding and mockups to HTML/JS, you'll influence how millions of developers discover and compare software tools.
