We are looking for a passionate automotive enthusiast to join the team as a Sr. Software Engineer. As an integral part of the company, you will be joining a rock-star team with an extensive background in building technology companies from the ground up. The core senior management team consists of entrepreneurs from technology and automotive-focused companies such as Apple, Nextdoor, Twitter, Shopping.com, Gotham Dream Cars and K-PAX Racing.
Responsibilities:
• Write code at every level – from the UI, to backend services, to the databases and tools
• Collaborate with the design and product team to build groundbreaking applications and rapidly iterate features for our existing platform
• Work along side our team to maintain and scale back-end infrastructure
• Participate in all aspects of the agile development process, including scoping, detailed design, effort estimation, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and support
• Document your work and provide peer feedback
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to deliver web-based services that meet business requirements
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and other web standards
• Proficient with MongoDB or strong MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS including EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2 Container Service or Google Compute Engine/Container Engine
• A passion for cars or trucks is a bonus–we’re gear-heads building products for the automotive industry!
Compensation
$100K – $170K and higher (DOE)
