Job Description
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who would be responsible for the operation, security, monitoring and automation of our highly available and distributed platform. Our stack consists of containerized micro-services supported by an assortment of other well known, open source components.
Our Engineering team takes pride in writing practical, testable and maintainable code. On the Infrastructure team our main language is Golang, but we are not afraid to take on the occasional Python and Scala service too.
Minimum Qualifications:
You have opinions about software, how it’s built, managed, deployed and tested but holds those views tentatively in the face of observational evidence or practical implementation
You have operational experience with configuration management, cloud provisioning, and other similar tools
You love to write code in at least one commonly used language (we love Go, and are happy to help the right candidate learn it if it isn’t their first language)
You take security and customer privacy seriously. We love being a nimble startup, but we do not cut corners when it comes to data and infrastructure integrity.
Desired Qualifications:
You have led an SRE team and would be interested in building a team and doing it again
You’ve extended or customized a well known configuration management tool like Terraform or Puppet
You love writing code in one widely used scripting language
You don’t consider the deployment complete until you can do it in one command

Salary: We invest in first-rate people and pay top-of-market salaries for most positions, factoring in experience and talent. We are unable to offer equity.
