Responsibilities:
- Build the set of tools that will help us visualize and manage our complex logistics engine.
- Participate in defining the product as part of regular meetings with product team.
- Ensure system stability by respecting the highest standards of software development, design, security and testing.
- Bring new ideas and best practices to the table: we’re always wanting to improve.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years professional experience building responsive web interfaces that present data in compelling ways
- Passion for User Experience and delivering beautiful user friendly applications
- Proficient with modern web frameworks such as React or Angular 2
- Understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTML, CSS, HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading / caching) and a broad knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Experience building large, data-heavy web applications
- High coding standards
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable and documented code
- Deep understanding of testing best practices (i.e. test driven development, coverage analysis, ...)
- Code reviews
Optional Skills:
- Backend experience, particularly in Node.js & MySQL a plus
- Professional experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with microservice architectures
Compensation:
We don't provide equity, however, we compensate in $$$ bonuses in addition to competitive salary.
