Job Description
Our startup, located in the Bay Area, is at early stage and has been seed funded. We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our small, highly talented team on our mission to eliminate youth unemployment worldwide.
Responsibilities
• Leads product development under tight deadlines.
• Defines product roadmap together with management team.
• Develops technology strategy in line with the business strategy.
Requirements
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Prior early stage start-up experience as a technical leader.
• 5 years of work experience. Strong abilities in programming, algorithms, and web infrastructure. Fluency in HTML+CSS, and solid working knowledge of layout, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility. Experience with Java Play Framework 1.X and MongoDB. Data analytics and machine learning.
• Great communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
