We’re looking for a world-class QA Automation Lead to help us continue on our hyper-growth trajectory and shape the future of the company.
The QA Automation Lead will lead the planning, design, implementation and execution of automated and manual test strategies for our product. This person will collaborate closely with the Engineering, Customer Support, Customer Success and Product teams to ensure we are releasing the highest quality product for our customers. This person needs to be able to work independently while having strong cross-team collaborative skills. They should be proficient in test planning and strategizing and have experience with Agile test methodologies. They should also have hands-on experience in developing automated test frameworks and coordinating the creation of both manual and automated test scripts.
Responsibilities:
Improve the overall efficiency of the QA team
Work alongside developers to evangelize testing best practices
Lead the implementation of our automated regression test framework
Work closely with support and engineering teams to capture test automation framework requirements
Architect, develop, maintain and document automation scripts
Work with QA functional team members to port the existing repetitive test cases and automate them
Review, maintain and improve current automated software test methodologies and processes
Measure and report on QA operational KPI’s to Engineering Management
Requirements:
7+ years of experience testing Web applications (automation and manual)
Detail oriented with good written & verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Broad knowledge and hands-on technical experience in test methodologies and automation development, with extensive experience creating automation and test frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, RSpec, and Cucumber
Experience in implementing automated software delivery pipelines and continuous integration using tools such as Git and Jenkins
Experience in developing RESTful API test automation
Experience in load and performance testing of large distributed high traffic web environments
Experience with Security testing is a plus
