Come help us build out the world's first on-demand, logistics engine for delivery! We're looking for talented engineers to join our team and help us create and maintain a 24x7, no downtime, global infrastructure system that powers our 3-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and dashers.
As a front-end engineer, you’ll help design and build out beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for our API-driven web applications to create the best delivery experience for our consumers, merchants and drivers.
What We Look For:
B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
Experience building large-scale frontend applications
Expert in vanilla JS, HTML5, CSS3
Obsessed with beautiful design and user interfaces
Solid understanding of REST principles and experience implementing backend APIs
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement and graceful degradation, responsive design and website performance
Eager to work in fast-paced startup environment and a desire to disrupt logistics
Ideally:
Deep understanding of a JS framework
Experience with MVC, MVVM, Reactive programming models to build web applications
Experience with React, Redux, Angular, jQuery, Webpack, CSS Preprocessors (like SASS, PostCSS)
Familiarity with Sketch / Photoshop / UI design
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
Experience with documentation, unit and integration testing
Contributor to open source projects
