Job Description

We are a full-stack quantum computing company based in Berkeley and Fremont, CA.

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for researching and developing machine learning techniques to augment our hybrid classical/quantum computing stack to solve problems using quantum computers.Key Responsibilities

  • Perform research in the intersection of machine learning and quantum computing, working closely with both applications researchers and engineers
  • Develop production-quality software applying learned techniques, using real quantum computers
  • Integrate existing machine learning frameworks and tools into our quantum computing stack

About You

  • Expertise in the area of machine learning and optimization, both theoretical and practical
  • Experience working with software through the full development lifecycle
  • Deep knowledge of several key frameworks for machine learning, such as TensorFlow, CNTK, Theano, Torch, and Keras
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills, especially in linear algebra

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of several programming language paradigms at an advanced level
  • Demonstrated open source success, especially in the area of machine learning
  • Masters or Ph.D. in a technical area
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of quantum computing (Note: This is not a requirement)

We are a full-stack quantum computing company. We design and manufacture superconducting quantum integrated circuits. We package and deploy those chips in a low temperature environment, and we build control systems to perform quantum logic operations on them. We build software to integrate our systems directly into existing cloud and HPC infrastructure.
