Job Description
We are looking for a strong, motivated, and creative Full Stack engineer that will find and implement innovative ways of reaching small businesses across the US. This Engineer will join the Engineering Team that already built exciting solutions like a groundbreaking integration into Intuits QuickBooks Online and Fuse, which enables SaaS platforms to embed in their product. This will be a part of the user acquisition efforts, including work in tandem with the Marketing and Business Development functions. In this job you will:
- Combine your engineering skills with an entrepreneurial mindset to work on innovative technological solutions for spreading the word about the company and helping to acquire new customers
- Influence the first impression people get from us
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and business development groups and various other stakeholders in the company, from brainstorming to implementation
- Work with our diverse set of partners to help to create a smooth experience for mutual customers
- Run different experiments and learn from the data what is your effect on the company
- Develop User-friendly, fast, performant and smooth web applications and websites
Job Requirements
- Have two years of experience in Full Stack/Frontend Engineering
- Enjoy working on backend issues
- Enter existing code fearlessly and build new things on top of it
- Have strong knowledge in SCSS, JS, Semantic HTML, Web frameworks, Web servers.
- Thrive while collaborating with fellow engineers, marketers and other stakeholders which have various experience
- Like to challenge the status quo and don't take things for granted
- Experience in building SEO friendly pages
- Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
- Experiences with CMS systems, like WordPress and Django CMS
- Worked on user acquisition and growth initiatives
- Have knowledge of Javascript and MVC frameworks, specifically Angular JS
- Experience with Python would be a plus but not a requirement.
