Who You Are
You have deep experience with solving the most challenging data science and data engineering problems in the world. You like to have impact by building things yourself and while you have been offered senior leadership positions in your career (and maybe accepted them) you always gravitate back to being an individual contributor. You might have an Masters or PhD in a technical area, but it is entirely possible that you have gotten where you are other ways such as building important open-source technologies and companies.
We're on a mission to change how healthcare is delivered to people with chronic conditions around the world, starting with diabetes in the US.
We are creating a smart data cloud capable of collecting and processing millions of data points from wearable devices, EHRs, and our cellular-connected blood glucose meters. We are also building delightful web and mobile front-end apps to provide consumers with intelligent workflows and visualizations to manage their chronic conditions effectively.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We are serious about diversity: We do not hire in the traditional Silicon Valley way and we don’t just talk about diversity. Our hiring process is designed to achieve it because it is a core value and an important goal. The Data Science team actively wants people from all backgrounds to apply and we just don’t hire without a diversity of applicants across many dimensions.
