As a Software Engineer on the Decide squad, you'll report to the Director of Engineering and help us build the platform used by the company to underwrite and price every loan application that comes through our doors.
We use Node.js and Docker to implement almost all our projects with a touch of React or Angular for UI work.
Sample Projects:
- Integrate data science and machine learning models to automate loan decisions
- Implement UIs to help human-d verification
- Integrate against third-party APIs to gather and analyze additional data
Ideal background and expertise:
- 5+ years of professional development experience
- Expertise in server-side concepts, e.g. microservices, database, caching, performance, monitoring, and scalability
- Extensive experience with Node.js preferred
- Professional experience in React/Redux desirable
- Working experience with databases such as PostgresSQL
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery frameworks
