We bring all of your communication channels (email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) into one place, so you can triage and assign messages, have internal conversations around them, and even sync your work across other services you use from Salesforce to Github. We’re looking for an exceptional VP of Engineering to provide strategic technical leadership to our team of highly talented engineers & designers, as well as continue building out our team.
Responsibilities
-Partner with the CEO and CTO to create a technical vision and roadmap for the company
-Become the go-to resource for the engineering and design team on a wide range of technical problems
-Cultivate high employee engagement, performance and commitment to the product through a motivational & visionary approach
-Recruit outstanding technical talent in a highly competitive market
-Lead by example; be able to contribute code and have a deep understanding of our stack
-Proactively remove any obstacles that stand in the way of engineering productivity
-Maximize team productivity and build loyalty by deeply understanding & incorporating various motivations, working styles and preferences
-Build strong relationships across the organization to ensure cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
-8+ years of engineering experience
-3+ years managing high-performing teams that exemplify a culture of excellence
-Experience working at a fast-paced, small technology company (<100 employees)
-Built and delivered products that have scaled
-Demonstrated passion for and success in attracting, assessing, and closing highly skilled candidates
-High emotional intelligence
-Humility; ability to step back and speak openly about mistakes
Spent time working across an entire organization, building relationships to understand the ins and outs of the whole business
Compensation
$130K – $170K and higher (DOE)
