Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated firmware engineer who can help us bring a new generation of digital canvas to market. While working on next generation technologies for streaming of 4k content, a successful applicant will be able to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment.
Requirements
• Strong communication and team player
• Minimum of 3 years programming experience with C/C++ or Java
• Minimum 1-2 years experience Android AOSP and GMS frameworks
• Has delivered at least 2 products to production
• System level programming
• Hardware and kernel development for Android SoCs
• Strong experience working with Android subsystems, such as: bootloaders, displays/GPUs, RF, media, etc
• Good understanding of wireless communication protocols (802.11G/N/AC)
• Experience debugging firmware level issues
• Minimum Bachelors degree in EE, CE, CS or equivalent experience
Bonus
• Video streaming development experience
• Display systems including: color space optimization
• Building API interfaces for external app integration
• Interfacing with chip and firmware manufacturers
