What about the engineering team?

Our team is driven, collaborative, and curious. Members of the team have many different work-styles and can be seen whiteboarding solutions to complex technical challenges, pair-programming on the right problem, or heads down cranking out code. We are builders and love creating technology that solves real-world problems. We take pride in both the impact and quality of what we build. We also host hackathons, where you get to hack away at whatever it is that excites you from extracurricular programming projects to freestyle painting of the walls.

You will:

- Lead the migration process from our legacy front-end stack (Mootools) while maintaining the existing platform with help from the team.
- Educate the existing team on modern Javascript frameworks, we love to learn!
- Design a clean, componentized UI library.
- Build and iterate upon end-to-end features with a focus on user experience.
- Work with a small tight-knit team of full-stack engineers.
- Work closely with the product, design, and marketing teams.

You have:

- A mastery (5+ years) of modern javascript frameworks (React, AngularJS, Ember.js, etc.) with the ability to work on the full stack.
- Led an initiative to modernize a front-end platform.
- Built extensible and maintainable CSS libraries.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web application framework.
- Worn many different hats in a fast-paced startup environment.
