We are a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative solutions for the display, recording, and transmission of computer and video signals. Company offerings include multiviewers, video wall processors, matrix switchers, codecs, recorders, and integrated solutions for control room management. Our products are preferred by major global organizations in industrial, security, medical, educational, commercial and military markets. We are looking for someone to fulfill a key role as an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer.
Job Requirements:
What You Will Be Doing
-Fulfill a key role in a team which develops sophisticated, industry leading video processing products by developing embedded application and driver software for our next generation of products
- Use your product development experience to develop embedded firmware and user interfaces for products that are rich in video, signal processing and control functionality
- Analyze system requirements and develop complex applications and drivers for in-house designed cards
- Work in conjunction with lead hardware and software engineers and Product Marketing Managers
- Prioritize, schedule, track, and coordinate the development, verification and release of your code with other hardware & software engineers and program managers
- Verify software functionality both in your own test environment as well as in conjunction with the rest of the project team and system test engineers
- Review software, firmware, and hardware designs and implementation
- Effectively communicate ideas, objectives and plans both internally and outside the Software group and project team
What You Need for this Position
- 8+ years hands-on experience developing software for embedded applications
- Fluent and experienced in writing embedded hardware drivers and middleware for shipping products
- Experience with design and implementation of video products
- Proven experience with networking
- Strong hands on experience in Multithreading
- Consistent demonstration of strong firmware development practices
- In-depth knowledge of C and experience with assembly language programming
