As an iOS engineer in the company, you will be leading core development efforts for our consumer-facing iOS app. We’re young and we are growing fast. As we are launching our service quickly across the nation, you’ll be responsible for making sure our app is beautiful, easy-to-use, and can scale to millions of delighted users. You’ll be working alongside a group of full-stack engineers, designers, and PMs from top-tier schools and with experience building consumer apps at companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Square.
Responsibilities
Turn design assets into full-fledged features
Interface with our backend API and develop familiarity with our database models
Ensure high code quality and maintainability with proper unit testing and documentation
Be diligent about tracking data so that we will have good visibility into how to improve our products
Guide major releases and monitor for app crashes and regressions
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science from a top engineering school, or equivalent technical background
2+ years experience in the industry on iOS development, via internships or full-time positions
Fluency in Swift, iOS SDK, Cocoa
Be amenable to a multi-paradigm and flexible development strategy
Nice to haves
Experience with RxSwift
Experience designing backend REST APIs
Experience working with design collaboration tools like InVision
